Welcome to City Hotel Nattergalen

City Hotel Nattergalen is quite a charming hotel, lovingly run by a dedicated family. It was built with care in 1988 and today offers 43 rooms and 5 well-located hotel apartments.

Our warm-hearted hotel finds its place right in the heart of historic Odense. Here, museums, cosy cafés, exciting shops with quirky finds and art galleries surround you, enveloping you in the cultural spirit of the city.

Upon arrival, you will experience the warm atmosphere and immediately feel part of our homely surroundings. In our hotel breakfast restaurant, a delicious breakfast buffet awaits you, where you can also find a selection of vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free products.

After breakfast, you can explore the new Hans Christian Andersen Museum or visit Mønter. Andersen Museum or visit Møntergaarden, which is literally on our doorstep. Alternatively, you can take part in the countless exciting festivals that we've linked to at the bottom of the page. Within walking distance you'll also find a range of restaurants, from small, cosy local eateries to Michelin-recommended culinary experiences.

When you've had a busy day, we welcome you to our cosy fireplace lounge where you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea - free of charge. There are also other tempting refreshments available for purchase at reception during opening hours. Downstairs, we have an additional lounge area equipped with billiards, darts and board games where you can enjoy yourself.
